      History

      Compañía de fotografía fundada en París por los hermanos Mayer: Louis Frédéric y Ernest Léopold (París 1817-?) y por Pierre Louis Pierson en 1855. Tuvieron su principal estudio en el Boulevard des Capucines nº 5, después en el nº 3, y entre 1864-1869 en el Boulevard des Italiens.
      En 1861 Louis Frédéric se separó de su hermano y en 1865 Pierson quedó como único propietario de la firma, vendida en 1873 (?) a Adolphe Braun.
